As per the weather forecast given to the third dekad of August, the moisture is expected to be continued alike with the previous dekads across the country and it is forecasted that chance of heavy rainfall is anticipated over some parts of the country. This condition may allow the soil moisture to be sufficient so that various crops and perennial plants as well as vegetables can easily get the moisture for their daily need. The expected weather condition is also favorable for sustaining the growth of varies tree plants which has been planted in the national green Legacy program. On the other hand, the heavy rain expected in some places may trigger floods and landslides over flood prone areas. Thus, peoples at flood prone areas are advised to take necessary precautions and preparation in head of time to reduce the possible flood risk.
