In the coming December the arid and sunny condition will be dominated over most parts of main river basin. However in some catchments sometimes there will be a chance to get light rainfall according to the forecast information. Lower Abay, BaroAkobo, and Middle and Lower OmoGibe catchments will be expected to have Sub Humid to Humid moisture conditions. The occurrence of rain across those catchments will be beneficial to minimize the shortage of moisture during the Bega season and it has contributed to supporting the availability of water by using rainwater harvesting.
