During the last month of June 2023, there were widespread rains in terms of amount and distribution over most parts of the country, that benefit from the kiremt rain, as well the rain is spreading in the southwest, west and central parts of the country and it has been observed that the seasonal rain has improving in terms of amount and distribution over the seasonal rain benefiting areas of the country. In the upcoming month of July 2023, the rain bearing meteorological systems will intensify; in association with this, it will affect, the north eastern and eastern Ethiopia including the western half of the country, that have already started to receive the seasonal rain regularly.
